UpcoXtouch Cayenne is a release polyester film specific texturized by Sappi with an acrylic transfer coating made by Upco.
The EB cured coating is transferred onto the receiving substrate - typically melamine - while the textured PET is peeled off. The end result is a texturized surface with highly functional properties.
Upco’s coatings enhance the texturized surface with additional features such as scratch resistance, anti-fingerprint, soft touch, UV protection, and others according to client requirements.
The Cayenne design
The Cayenne design is a natural, fresh and trendy wood texture inspired by a refined linear Italian walnut surface. The flow of the dark veins and the softness of the touch are stand-out features. The "wow-effect" of Cayenne is an elegant, smoky matte finish.

UpcoXtouch Cayenne is designed for easy handling and maximum efficiency in any lamination process thanks to its transparency, flatness, humidity resistance, and high bonding guarantee. Compatible with a vast range of melamine resins and glues, it is ideal for becoming the surface of laminates, lacquered boards, and surfaces on HDF, MDF, and particle boards, as well as any other materials requiring a special surface finishing.
UpcoXtouch Cayenne features an ECO version with 70% recycled PET with the same quality and performance as standard products.

Recommended storage condition and shelf life
The product, as supplied in original packaging, will maintain stated test properties for six months from the manufacturing date when stored at a maximum temperature of 30°C and relative humidity of 50%. The material must be wrapped with foil after usage or at the end of the production run when stored at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
