UpcoSolis is an acrylic UV resistant coating applied on a textured PET carrier film that is specifically developed for outdoor furniture with a value of grey scale >4 (ISO 105A02*) when applied on a suitable substrate. The EB cured UV resistant coating is transferred onto the receiving substrate - typically melamine - while the textured PET is peeled off. The result is a surface designed for outdoor surfaces with highly functional properties such as anti-scratch, anti-fingerprint, velvet touch, UV resistance and others according to client requirements. The DuoGloss feature, a high resolution pattern made of two different gloss grades, can be used upon customer request on UpcoSolis to combine design possibilities with its functionality properties for outdoor end uses and is compatible with the different production processes of our customers (HPL, CPL, LPL/TFL).

*Weathering resistance refers only to UpcoSolis, appropriate substrates must be used.
